5. Eto

Before using the URIT PFS-30 Blood Lipid Analyzer, ensure it is properly set up.

Each new box of test strips comes with a code card. It is crucial to insert the correct code card into the analyzer before performing tests with a new batch of strips to ensure accurate results.

  1. Tan-an: Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) on the analyzer. The device will power on and perform a self-check.
  2. Read the Code Card: Insert the code card that comes with your test strip bottle into the code card slot on the analyzer. Ensure the code on the card matches the code printed on the strip bottle. The analyzer will automatically read the code.

Follow these steps to perform a blood lipid test using the URIT PFS-30 Blood Lipid Analyzer.

  2. Collect Blood: Use the lancing device to prick the side of your fingertip to obtain a blood sample. Gently squeeze your finger to form a round drop of blood.
  3. Add the Blood Drop: When the blood drop symbol is flashing on the screen, immediately apply the blood sample to the designated test hole on the test strip. Ensure the blood completely fills the sample area. Do not smear the blood.
  4. Wait for Results: The analyzer will begin the measurement process. The result will be displayed on the screen within 2 minutes (120 seconds).
  5. Read the Result: Once the result is displayed, note down the values. The analyzer will show TC, HDL, TG, LDL, and TC/HDL Ratio.
  6. Dispose of Used Materials: Carefully remove the used test strip and dispose of it, along with the lancet, in a suitable biohazard container according to local regulations.

Akiyesi: For optimal accuracy, ensure the sample volume is between 35-40 µL. Capillary or venous whole blood can be used as a sample iru.

7.1 Cleaning the Analyzer

  • Wipe the exterior of the analyzer with a soft, damp asọ.
  • If necessary, use a mild detergent or a 70% ethanol solution for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the analyzer in water or any other liquid.
