The TIDRADIO TD-PTT is a versatile wireless Bluetooth Push-To-Talk (PTT) button equipped with an integrated microphone. It serves two primary functions: activating PTT features for most PTT applications, including the Odmaster APP, and acting as a wireless programmer for compatible two-way radios. Its compact design and dual functionality make it an essential accessory for radio enthusiasts and professionals.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing with a Mobile Phone

The TD-PTT button is compatible with both Apple iOS and Android devices. It can be paired quickly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology.

  1. Agbara Tan: Ensure the TD-PTT button is charged and powered on. The red and green lights will flash alternately, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Mu Bluetooth ṣiṣẹ: On your mobile phone, go to Settings and enable Bluetooth.

3.3 Attaching the TD-PTT

The TD-PTT comes with an adjustable strap, allowing it to be worn on fingers or attached to various objects for convenient access. Common attachment points include handlebars (bicycles, motorcycles), gear shifters, and steering wheels.

4.1 Using PTT for Communication (Odmaster APP)

Once paired with your mobile phone and connected to the Odmaster APP, the TD-PTT button allows for one-touch communication.

  1. Ensure the Odmaster APP is open and you are in a group or private chat.
  2. Press and hold the PTT button on the device to transmit your voice. The integrated microphone will pick up your audio.
  3. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and listen for replies.

4.2 Wireless Programming for Radios

The TD-PTT button, when used with the included adapter cord, functions as a wireless programmer for compatible two-way radios. This allows you to program your radio using your mobile phone instead of a computer.

4.3 One-Touch Answer/Hang Up Call

When connected to your phone, the TD-PTT can also be used to manage phone calls, ensuring safety and compliance while driving.

  • Press the PTT button once to answer an incoming call.
  • Press the PTT button once during a call to hang up.
