4. Eto

4.1 Attaching the Chuck

The drill may ship with the chuck detached. To attach the chuck:

  1. Ensure the drill is disconnected from the air supply.
  2. Locate the chuck and the spindle. The spindle thread is 3/8-24.
  3. If a retaining screw is present inside the chuck, remove it using a Torx T25 bit. Note that this is a left-hand thread screw.
  4. Thread the chuck onto the spindle by hand until it is snug.
  5. Insert the retaining screw (if applicable) and tighten it securely.
  6. Use the provided chuck key to open and close the chuck jaws.
