Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the product.
The Edlund Model 401 is designed for professional results, featuring a removable guidance system for easy cleaning and a precise guidance system to maintain a perfect edge on various knife types, including scalloped-edged bread knives.

4. Eto

The Edlund Model 401 features a two-stage sharpening process: a coarse grit for initial sharpening and a medium grit for honing and finishing. The precise guidance system ensures consistent blade angles.
- Agbara Tan: Flip the lighted rocker switch to the "ON" position. The light will illuminate, indicating the motor is running.
- Pipọn Stage 1 (Coarse):

- Insert the knife blade into the coarse sharpening slot (typically the slot furthest from the power switch) at the heel of the blade.

- Repeat this process 3-5 times for each side of the blade, alternating sides.
- Pipọn Stage 2 (Medium/Honing):
- Move the knife blade to the medium/honing slot (typically the slot closer to the power switch).
- Draw the knife slowly and steadily towards you, applying very light pressure.
- Repeat this process 1-2 times for each side of the blade, alternating sides, to refine the edge.
- Testing the Edge: Carefully test the sharpness of the blade. If not sufficiently sharp, repeat the honing stage.
- Scalloped Edged Knives: For scalloped or serrated knives, use only the medium/honing slot. Draw the knife through the slot with very light pressure, focusing on sharpening the points of the serrations. Do not use the coarse slot for serrated knives.
- Agbara Pa: Once sharpening is complete, flip the rocker switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit.

6. Itọju ati Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your sharpener.
