Installation and Use Guidelines (Refer to Figure 2)
Pedrollo BCm series pumps are designed for pumping drainage water, sewage water, and water mixed with mud. They are suitable for domestic, civil, and industrial applications. The pump can be installed in sumps, tanks, or wells, ensuring it is fully submerged during operation. The float switch automatically controls pump operation based on liquid levels.
Application Limits (Refer to Figure 2)
- Maximum operating depth: 5 m below water level.
- Maximum liquid temperature: +40 °C.
- Passage of suspended solids: up to 50 mm for BC 10/50-N.
- Minimum emptying level from bottom: 50 mm.
- Continuous service: S1.

Once properly installed and connected, the pump operates automatically via its float switch. Ensure the pump is fully submerged during operation to prevent dry running.
- The pump is designed for intermittent or continuous operation within its specified limits.
- Do not operate the pump if the liquid contains abrasive particles that could damage the impeller or pump body.
- Ensure the discharge pipe is clear and unobstructed.

- Ṣọra! The loss of any lubricant contained within the pump will not result in the contamination of the pumped liquid.
- Ṣọra! The apparatus is not intended for use by people (children included) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by those lacking the required experience or knowledge unless supervised or instructed in the use of the apparatus by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the apparatus.
Periodically check the pump for any blockages, especially around the impeller and suction inlet. Clean any debris to maintain efficient flow.
