5.2.1 AC / DC Voltage Measurement (0.001 V to 600 V)
Set the rotary dial to the 'V~' (AC Voltage) tàbí 'V=' (Ìdìpọ̀ DCtage) position. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit or component under test. The display will show the voltage kika.
5.2.2 AC/DC Current Measurement (0.1 µA to 10 A, 20 A max for 30 sec)
Set the rotary dial to the 'µAmA~', 'µAmA=', '10A~', or '10A=' position. Connect the test leads in series with the circuit. Ensure the correct input jack (µAmA or 10A) is used based on the expected current. The display will show the current reading.
5.2.3 Resistance Measurement (0.1 Ω to 40 MΩ)
Set the rotary dial to the 'Ω' position. Connect the test leads across the component to measure its resistance. Ensure the component is de-energized before measuring resistance.
5.2.4 Continuity and Diode Test
Set the rotary dial to the 'Diode/Continuity' position. For continuity, connect the leads across the circuit; a low resistance will trigger an audible beep. For diode test, connect the leads across the diode; the display will show the forward voltage ju.
5.2.5 Frequency Measurement (up to 10 kHz)
Set the rotary dial to the 'Hz' position. Connect the test leads to the signal source. The display will show the frequency in Hertz.
5.2.6 Capacitance Measurement (0.01 nF to 4000 µF)
Set the rotary dial to the 'CAP' position. Connect the test leads across the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before measurement. The display will show the capacitance in Farads.
