  1. Unpacking ati ayewo

    Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect each part for any signs of damage. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact your retailer immediately.

  2. Assembling the Bass Drum

    Attach the bass drum legs and the bass drum pedal. Ensure the pedal is securely fastened to the bass drum hoop. The bass drum features a robust plastic tensioning band for tuning.

  3. Setting Up the Snare Drum

    Place the 10" snare drum on its dedicated snare stand. Adjust the height and angle for comfortable playing. The snare drum uses flanged steel bands for tuning.

  4. Mounting the Tom-Toms and Floor Tom

    Attach the 8" and 10" tom-toms using the provided tom holders. Position them for optimal reach. The 12" floor tom should be placed on its own legs. All tom-toms are tuned using flanged steel bands. The tom holders feature a filter with a tooth segment for secure grip and flexible adjustment.

  5. Ìṣètò Síńbálì

    Assemble the cymbal stand for the 12" crash cymbal and the hi-hat stand for the 10" hi-hat cymbals. Adjust their height and angle. Both cymbal stands feature a filter with a tooth segment for secure grip and flexible adjustment.

  6. Drum Throne Adjustment

    Assemble the drum throne. Adjust its height using the hole rod mechanism to a comfortable playing position. The height can be adjusted from 33 cm to 42 cm, suitable for various age groups within the recommended range.

Operating Your Drum Kit

Tuning the Drums

The tom-toms and snare drum are tuned using the flanged steel bands. The bass drum uses a robust plastic tensioning band. Adjust the tension evenly around the drumhead for the desired pitch and resonance. Experiment with different tensions to find your preferred sound.

Use the included drumsticks to strike the drumheads and cymbals. Practice basic rhythms and techniques. The bass drum pedal operates with a felt beater, similar in construction to pedals found on adult drum kits.
