5.1. AC Voltage Itọkasi

The ET60 indicates AC voltage across seven ranges. When connected to an AC circuit, the corresponding LED(s) will illuminate.

  • Connect the red and black test leads to the points where AC voltage ni ki won won.
  • The tester will vibrate, and the LEDs corresponding to the detected voltage range will light up.
  • AC voltage ranges: 24V, 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 480V, 600V.
  • AC bandwidth: 45 to 66Hz.

5.2. DC Voltage Itọkasi

The ET60 indicates DC voltage across seven ranges. When connected to a DC circuit, the corresponding LED(s) will illuminate.

  • Connect the red and black test leads to the points where DC voltage is to be measured, observing polarity.
  • The tester will vibrate, and the LEDs corresponding to the detected voltage range will light up.
  • DC voltage ranges: 6V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 110V, 220V.

5.3. Igbeyewo Ilọsiwaju

The continuity test function checks for a complete electrical path between two points.

  • Ensure the circuit under test is de-energized before performing a continuity test.
  • Touch the red and black test leads to the two points you wish to test for continuity.
  • If continuity is detected, the tester will emit an audible beep and a visual alert (LED).

5.4. Non-olubasọrọ Voltage (NCV) erin

The NCV feature allows for quick detection of live AC voltage without direct contact with conductors.

  • Hold the NCV sensor tip (top of the tester) near the conductor or outlet you suspect is live.
  • Ti AC voltage (90 to 1000Vac) is detected, the NCV indicator will illuminate, and an audible alert may sound.
  • This feature is for preliminary detection and should be confirmed with direct contact voltage wiwọn.

5.5. Ògùṣọ Išė

The built-in flashlight assists in illuminating dark work areas.

  • Press the flashlight button (if present, or refer to device markings) to turn the flashlight on or off.

6. Itọju

  • Ninu: Wipe the tester with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Rirọpo Batiri: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears or if the tester's performance degrades. Refer to Section 4 for battery installation.
  • Ibi ipamọ: Store the tester in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
  • Ayewo: Regularly inspect the test leads and housing for any signs of damage, cracks, or frayed insulation. Do not use a damaged tester.
