1. Planning Speaker Placement
Consider the acoustics of your room and the desired sound field. For surround sound systems, refer to your audio receiver's manual for recommended speaker layouts. Ensure there are no obstructions (e.g., joists, electrical wiring, plumbing) in the ceiling where you plan to install the speakers.
2. Preparing the Mounting Hole
The mounting cutout diameter is 9-3/4 inches. The mounting depth required is approximately 4 inches.
- Using the provided cutout template (if applicable, or measure carefully), mark the desired location on the ceiling.
- Carefully cut the opening using a drywall saw or appropriate tool.
