Before first use, fully charge your Nitecore TIP 2. The flashlight comes with a built-in Li-ion battery that requires charging via the Micro-USB port.

- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to any standard USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete.
- Once charging is complete, securely reattach the magnetic tailcap to ensure waterproof integrity.

6.3 Turbo Mode (720 Lumens)
With the flashlight off or on, press and hold the Mode Switch to instantly activate Turbo mode. Release the Mode Switch to return to the previous state.
6.4 Mode Selection (Demo Mode / Daily Mode)
The TIP 2 has two operating modes: Demo Mode and Daily Mode. By default, the flashlight is set to Demo Mode, which automatically turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery. Daily Mode keeps the light on until manually turned off.
