The Cambridge Audio AXR100 is a powerful 100-watt stereo receiver designed to deliver high-fidelity audio performance. It integrates a range of connectivity options including analogue inputs, digital inputs, a dedicated phono stage for turntables, and an AM/FM tuner with RDS. Additionally, its built-in Bluetooth receiver allows for wireless audio streaming from compatible devices. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your AXR100 receiver.

Proper setup ensures optimal performance and longevity of your AXR100 receiver. Follow these steps for installation and connection.

3.1 Ibi

Place the AXR100 on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not place other components directly on top of the receiver's ventilation grilles.

The AXR100 supports two pairs of speakers (A and B). Use high-quality speaker cables for the best audio performance. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and – to –) for all connections.

  1. Identify the positive (+) and negative (–) terminals on your speakers and the AXR100.
  2. Connect the right speaker to the "Right" terminals and the left speaker to the "Left" terminals for both Speaker A and Speaker B outputs.
  3. For Speaker A, connect to the top set of binding posts. For Speaker B, connect to the bottom set.
  4. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent short circuits. The AXR100 is compatible with speakers having an impedance of 4-8 ohms.
