The M590 offers two ways to connect to your computer:
- 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection (USB Receiver):
Remove the USB receiver from the battery compartment. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. The mouse should automatically connect.
- Bluetooth Low Energy Connection:
Ensure your computer has Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch on the underside. Press and hold the Easy-Switch button (labeled 1/2) on the top of the mouse until the LED indicator blinks rapidly. On your computer, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech M590" to pair.
3. Installing Logitech Options Software (Recommended)
For full functionality, including Logitech Flow and button customization, download and install the Logitech Options software from the official Logitech website. This software is compatible with Windows 10/11 or later, macOS 10.5 or later, ChromeOS, and Linux kernel 2.6+.
