Installation of the Prity FGW15 stove must be carried out by a certified professional in accordance with all national and local building and fire safety regulations. This includes proper chimney connection, flue pipe installation, and integration with your central heating system.

5.1 Chimney and Flue Pipe

5.2 Water Connections for Back Boiler

The back boiler requires connection to a closed or open central heating system. The cold water inlet and hot water outlet connections are 2.5 cm (1 inch). A qualified plumber must perform these connections, ensuring proper pressure relief valves, expansion tanks, and circulation pumps are installed according to system requirements and local codes.

5.3 Positioning and Clearances

Refer to Section 2.2 for minimum clearances to combustible materials. The stove must be placed on a non-combustible hearth extending beyond the appliance as required by local regulations.

Before operating, ensure all installation checks are complete and the central heating system (if connected) is filled and vented.

6.1 Starting the Fire

  1. Open both the front air supply damper and the smoke damper fully.
  2. Place a small amount of kindling and firelighters on the cast iron grate in the firebox.
  3. Light the kindling. Once it is burning well, add small pieces of dry firewood.
  4. Close the firebox door securely.
  5. Allow the fire to establish fully before adding larger logs.

6.2 Air Control and Flame Intensity

The stove is equipped with two manual dampawon:

Adjust both dampers to achieve a steady, efficient burn. A bright, lively flame indicates good combustion. Excessive smoke or a dull, smoldering fire suggests insufficient air or poor draft.

6.3 Lilo adiro

The oven utilizes heat from the firebox below. The oven temperature will vary depending on the intensity of the fire. Monitor the oven temperature gauge and adjust the fire's intensity as needed for cooking. Preheat the oven thoroughly before placing food inside.

7. Itọju

Regular maintenance is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your Prity FGW15 stove.

7.1 Ash Yiyọ

Remove ash from the ash drawer regularly, ideally before each use or when the ash bed becomes thick. Allow the stove to cool completely before removing ash. Dispose of ash in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid, away from combustible materials.

7.2 Glass Cleaning

Clean the ceramic glass on the firebox and oven doors as needed. Use a specialized stove glass cleaner or a damp cloth dipped in fine ash (when cold) to remove soot. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the glass.

7.3 Flue Pipe and Chimney Cleaning

The flue pipe and chimney must be inspected and cleaned by a qualified chimney sweep at least once a year, or more frequently if heavy use or creosote buildup is observed. Blockages can lead to dangerous chimney fires and carbon monoxide accumulation.

Periodically check all seals, hinges, and dampers for wear or damage. Ensure water connections for the back boiler are free from leaks. Replace any worn parts promptly.
