The M30 controller features a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the supplied USB cable to the controller's micro USB port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., a computer USB port or a USB wall adapter). The LED indicator on the controller will show charging status.

- Plug the 2.4G wireless receiver into an available USB port on your SEGA Genesis Mini or Mega Drive Mini console.
- Press the Start button on the M30 controller to power it on. The controller will automatically connect to the receiver.
