2. Alaye Aabo

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device using the USB cable.

1. Idiyele Ibẹrẹ: Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the device and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
2. Atọka gbigba agbara: A green light will flash while charging. The light will become steady green when the device is fully charged.
3. Ibi: For optimal bug zapping, place the lantern away from human activity, ideally 5-7 feet high and 20 feet away from where people gather. This draws insects away from you. For general illumination, place it where light is needed.

The device features two primary buttons on the top panel:

• Bọtini agbara (⏻): Controls the LED lantern light. Press to cycle through light modes (Low, Medium, High, Off).
• Zapper Button (🦋): Activates the UV bug zapper. Press to turn the zapper ON or OFF. The UV light will illuminate when the zapper is active.

You can use the LED lantern and the bug zapper independently or simultaneously.

7. Gbigba agbara

The PIC Solar Portable Lantern & Bug Zapper offers two charging methods:

7.1 Solar Ngba agbara

Place the device in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing upwards. The solar panel will automatically charge the internal battery. Charging time varies depending on sunlight intensity and duration. For best results, ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed.

7.2 USB Ngba agbara

For faster charging or when solar charging is not feasible, use the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the device's USB port and a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer). The green indicator light will flash during charging and turn solid when fully charged.

A full charge typically provides several hours of operation, depending on the mode (lantern only, zapper only, or both) and light intensity setting.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your bug zapper.
