- Sump Basin Igbaradi: Ensure your sump basin has a minimum diameter of 18 inches to accommodate the tethered float switch. Clean the basin of any debris or obstructions.
- Ibi: Place the pump on a solid, level surface at the bottom of the sump basin. Ensure the pump is stable and will not tip over during operation.
- Asopọ Paipu Isunjade: Connect a 1-1/2 inch FNPT (Female National Pipe Thread) discharge pipe to the pump's outlet. It is recommended to use a check valve in the discharge line to prevent water from flowing back into the sump basin when the pump turns off.
- Àtúnṣe Ìyípadà Lílefó: The tethered float switch controls the pump's on/off cycles. Adjust the tether length to set the desired "on" and "off" water levels. Ensure the float can move freely without obstruction within the sump basin. The switch-on height is approximately 11.81 inches and switch-off height is approximately 3.94 inches, but can be adjusted by tether length.
- Asopọ agbara: Plug the pump's 8.25 ft. power cord into a properly grounded 115-Volt AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for added safety.
- Iṣiṣẹ Idanwo: Kún omi náà basin with water to activate the float switch and ensure the pump turns on and discharges water correctly. Allow the water level to drop to verify the pump turns off automatically.
Awọn ilana Iṣiṣẹ
The Everbilt 1/2 HP Submersible Sump Pump operates automatically via its tethered float switch. Once properly installed and connected to power, the pump will activate when the water level rises to the "on" point and deactivate when the water level drops to the "off" point.
- Isẹ aladaaṣe: The pump is designed for continuous duty and will cycle on and off as needed based on the water level in the sump basin.
- Àtúnṣe pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ (tí ó bá wúlò): While primarily automatic, some installations may allow for manual operation by lifting the float switch. Refer to your specific setup for manual control options.
