Mounting the Intercom Unit

The FX4 Pro unit can be mounted using either a clip bracket or a 3M adhesive tape bracket.

Clip Mounting Method

1. Insert the clip mounting bracket between the internal padding and the external shell of the helmet.
2. Ensure the bracket is securely positioned.
3. Slide the FX4 Pro main unit onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

3M Tape Mounting Method

1. Clean the desired mounting area on the helmet surface.
2. Peel off the protective backing sheet from the 3M adhesive tape bracket.
3. Firmly press the bracket onto the helmet surface for 15 seconds.
4. Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours before attaching the intercom unit.
5. Slide the FX4 Pro main unit onto the attached bracket.

The FX4 Pro comes with both a hard tube microphone (boom mic) and a button microphone (soft mic) suitable for different helmet types.

1. Attach the Velcro pads to the inside of the helmet where the speakers will be positioned, aligning with your ears.

3. Route the speaker wires neatly under the helmet padding.
4. Choose the appropriate microphone for your helmet type (hard tube for open-face/modular, button for full-face).

6. Connect the speaker and microphone cable to the FX4 Pro unit.

To power on, press and hold the main function button (FX4 Pro logo) for approximately 3 seconds until the blue LED light flashes. To power off, press and hold the main function button until the red LED light appears and then turns off.

2. Press and hold the main function button for about 7 seconds until the LED light alternates between red and blue, indicating pairing mode.

Voice Command (Siri/Google Assistant)

Double-click the "Volume -" button to activate your phone's voice assistant. You can then issue commands like making calls.

6. Intercom Pairing and Group Connection

Two-Way Intercom Pairing

1. Ensure both FX4 Pro units (A and B) are powered off.
2. On both units, press and hold the main function button for about 7 seconds until the LED lights alternate between red and blue.
3. Short press the intercom button on either unit A or B once. The units will search and connect.
4. Once connected, the LED lights will turn blue.

Three-Way Intercom Pairing

1. Power on all three FX4 Pro units (A, B, C) by holding the main function button for 3 seconds (blue light flashes).
2. On unit A, long press the "Volume +" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 1). The LED will flash red and blue.
3. On unit B, long press the "Volume -" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 2). The LED will flash red and blue.
4. Short press the intercom button of unit A once. Units A and B will connect.
5. Short press the intercom button of unit B once. Units B and C will connect.
6. To turn on/off the connection between A and B, short press the intercom button once.
7. To turn on/off the connection between B and C, short press the intercom button twice.

Four-Way Intercom Pairing

1. Power on all four FX4 Pro units (A, B, C, D) by holding the main function button for 3 seconds (blue light flashes).
2. On unit A, long press the "Volume +" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 1). The LED will flash red and blue.
3. On unit B, long press the "Volume -" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 1). The LED will flash red and blue.
4. On unit C, long press the "Volume +" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 2). The LED will flash red and blue.
5. On unit D, long press the "Volume -" button and the intercom button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Channel 2). The LED will flash red and blue.
6. Short press the intercom button of unit A once. Units A and B will connect.
7. Short press the intercom button of unit B once. Units B and C will connect.
8. Short press the intercom button of unit C once. Units C and D will connect.
9. To turn on/off the intercom between A and B, short press the intercom button once.
10. To turn on/off the intercom between B and C, short press the intercom button twice.
11. To turn on/off the intercom between C and D, short press the intercom button twice.
