1. Measuring Body Temperature
- Ensure the thermometer is in body temperature mode (usually indicated by a human icon). If not, press the mode button to switch.
- Hold the thermometer approximately 1-5 cm (0.4-2 inches) from the center of the forehead. Ensure there is no hair, sweat, or cosmetics obstructing the measurement area.
- Press the measurement button. The thermometer will beep once, and the reading will appear on the display within approximately 1 second.
- Interpret the reading based on the display color: Green for normal, Orange for elevated, Red for fever.

2. Measuring Surface/Ambient Temperature
- Switch the thermometer to surface or ambient temperature mode (usually indicated by a house or object icon).
- Point the thermometer at the surface or area you wish to measure. For surface temperature, hold it close to the object. For ambient temperature, hold it in the air.
- Press the measurement button. The reading will be displayed.

3. Understanding Fever Alarms
The Reer Colour Softtemp thermometer provides both visual and acoustic fever indications:
- Itaniji wiwo: The display backlight changes color based on the temperature reading:
- Alawọ ewe: Temperature below 37.5°C (Normal)
- Ọsan: Temperature between 37.5°C and 37.9°C (Elevated)
- Pupa: Temperature above 37.9°C (Fever)
- Itaniji Akọsitiki: An audible beep will sound if the measured body temperature is above 37°C.

4. Iṣẹ Iranti
The thermometer automatically stores the last 25 temperature readings. To access the memory:
- With the thermometer turned on, press the "MEM" button (if available, or the mode button repeatedly until memory mode is shown).
- Each press of the "MEM" button will cycle through the stored readings, from most recent to oldest.

- Ninu: Wipe the thermometer body with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For the sensor lens, use a cotton swab lightly moistened with alcohol. Ensure the lens is completely dry before next use.
