Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal 5000mAh Li-ion battery. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the radio's Micro USB input port and plug the other end into a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will illuminate. 2. AAA Battery Installation (Optional Backup)

For additional backup power, you can install 3 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.

The radio can automatically scan and alert you to NOAA weather broadcasts.

  1. Activate NOAA Alert: Press the 'WX ALERT' button. The radio will automatically scan all 7 NOAA weather channels. When an alert is issued, a siren will sound, and a red indicator light will flash.
  2. Set WX Timer: The WX alert function can be set with a timer (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, 12H, 16H, 20H, 24H, or OFF) to disable the alert after a set period.

5. Emergency Phone Charging

The built-in 5000mAh battery can charge external devices. Connect your smartphone or other USB-powered device to the USB-A output port on the side of the radio using your device's charging cable.

7. Itaniji SOS

Press and hold the red 'SOS' button on the side of the radio to activate a loud siren and a flashing red light for emergency signaling.
