Setup and Building

The Apitor Robot X offers 12 distinct robot models to build. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the physical building manual or through the Apitor Kit app for step-by-step guidance.

1. Download the Apitor Kit App

The free Apitor Kit app is available on both the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android). This app provides interactive building instructions and serves as the remote control and coding interface for your robot.

2. Assemble Your Robot

Choose one of the 12 models to begin. The kit includes over 600 building blocks, allowing for diverse creations. Start with the main Robot X model for an initial experience, then explore other designs like the Racing Car, Dinosaur, or Helicopter.

Ensure proper connection of the control unit, motors, and sensors as guided by the instructions. The Robot X includes 1 control unit with 7 multicolor LED lights, 2 infrared sensors, 1 color sensor, and 3 motors.

Once assembled, your Apitor Robot X can be controlled and programmed using the dedicated app.

Use the Apitor Kit app to control your motorized robot. You can make it move in all directions (left, right, forward, backward) and perform 360-degree rotating stunts. Explore the app for various gameplay options.

2. Graphical Programming (Coding)

The app features a drag-and-drop coding interface, making it easy for kids to learn programming concepts. You can program your robot to:

  • Follow lines
  • Avoid obstacles

This helps develop logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Apitor Robot X, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Ninu: Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe down the blocks and electronic components. Avoid using water or cleaning solutions directly on electronic parts.
  • Ibi ipamọ: Store the kit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep all blocks and components organized in the sorting tray or original packaging to prevent loss.
