3.2 Recording with Volt 2

The Volt 2 is designed to integrate seamlessly with your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). The included LUNA DAW provides a powerful recording environment.

  1. Connect your input source: Plug your microphone into an XLR input or your instrument into a TRS input.

  3. Engage Vintage/Inst (if needed): Press VINTAGE for tube preamp emulation or INST for direct instrument input.

  5. Set Monitoring: Use the DIRECT button to monitor your input with zero latency. Adjust the MONITOR and HP knobs for comfortable listening levels.
  6. Open your DAW: Launch LUNA or your preferred DAW (e.g., Ableton). Select Volt 2 as your audio input and output device in the DAW's audio settings.
  7. Create a Track: Create a new audio track in your DAW and arm it for recording.
