Goobay 53882 LED Spotlight with Motion Detector

This manual provides essential information for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Goobay 53882 LED Spotlight with Motion Detector. This outdoor LED floodlight features a tilt spotlight and a motion detector that can be optionally turned off for continuous illumination. It delivers 2560 lumens of neutral white light (4000K) with a 100° beam angle, suitable for illuminating facades, patios, and driveways. The product is designed with IP65 protection for outdoor durability.

The LED spotlight is equipped with an adjustable bracket on the back, allowing for flexible mounting on a wall, ceiling, or tripod. The recommended installation height is between 2.3 meters and 4 meters for optimal motion detection and light distribution.

1. Open the M16 cable gland by unscrewing the cap.
2. Feed the power cable through the gland.
3. Connect the wires (Live, Neutral, Earth) to the corresponding terminals inside the fixture. Ensure connections are tight and secure.
4. Tighten the M16 cable gland cap to secure the cable and ensure water resistance.

6.1 Motion Detector Settings

The PIR motion sensor features three adjustable controls to customize its operation:

• Range (REICHWEITE): Adjusts the detection distance from 1 to 10 meters. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the range.
• Light Duration (LEUCHTDAUER): Sets how long the light stays on after motion is detected, from 5 to 600 seconds.
• Light Sensitivity (LICHTEMPFINDLICHKEIT): Determines the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active, ranging from 5 to 2000 lux. This allows the light to only activate in low light conditions.

6.2 TAN/PA Yipada

An ON/OFF switch is located on the unit. This switch allows you to disable the motion detector function, enabling the LED spotlight to be used as a normal, continuously illuminated light fixture.
