- Unpack the PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller and the detachable USB cable.
- Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the USB-C port on the top of the controller.
- Connect the larger USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your Xbox console (Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One) or Windows PC.
- The controller will automatically power on and connect to your device. The Xbox button on the controller will illuminate to indicate a successful connection.

Mapping Advanced Gaming Buttons
The two Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGB) on the back of the controller can be mapped to any standard button (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, Left Stick Click, Right Stick Click, D-pad). Follow these steps to map the buttons:
- Press the Program Button on the back of the controller (located between the AGBs) for 2 seconds. The Program Status LED will flash to indicate programming mode.
- Press the button you wish to map (e.g., A, B, X, Y, etc.). The Program Status LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGB1 or AGB2) you wish to assign. The Program Status LED will stop flashing, indicating the AGB has been successfully mapped.
- To clear a single AGB, repeat the steps, but at step 2, press the AGB you want to clear. The Program Status LED will stop flashing.
- To clear all AGBs, press and hold the Program Button for 5 seconds. The Program Status LED will flash slowly, then turn off, indicating all AGBs are cleared.
Using the Headset Dial
The headset dial located on the bottom of the controller allows for quick volume adjustments and mic muting.

- Mute Mute: Press the center of the dial to mute or unmute your microphone. The LED on the dial will indicate mic status (e.g., red for muted).
