Read and understand all safety instructions before operating this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Itanna Itanna: Do not exceed the rated electrical capacity of 13 Amps, 125 Volts AC, or 1625 Watts. Overloading the cord reel can cause overheating and fire.
- Ilẹ: This cord reel is equipped with a 3-prong grounded plug (NEMA 5-15P) and a triple tap grounded outlet (NEMA 5-15R). Ensure it is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Do not remove the grounding prong.
- Opin Iyika monamona: The integrated circuit breaker protects the reel and connected devices from overcurrent. If the circuit breaker trips, disconnect all devices, reset the breaker, and reduce the load before resuming use.
- Awọn ipo Ayika: The SJTOW cable is designed for indoor/outdoor use and is flexible in temperatures from -40°F to 221°F (-40°C to 105°C). Avoid exposing the reel to extreme moisture or corrosive environments beyond its rated resistance.
- Ayewo: Before each use, inspect the cord and reel for any damage, cuts, or frayed insulation. Do not use if damaged.
- Awọn ọmọde ati awọn ohun ọsin: Keep the cord reel and extension cord out of reach of children and pets.

The Goodyear Retractable Extension Cord Reel (Model GUR074) provides a convenient and organized power solution for various applications. It features a durable industrial steel construction with a corrosion-resistant powder coating, ensuring longevity and protection against impacts.
The reel includes a 50-foot, 12AWG, 3-conductor SJTOW cable, known for its resistance to acids, alkalies, ozone, and kinking. The cable terminates in a triple tap connector, allowing multiple tools or appliances to be powered simultaneously. An auto-rewind mechanism with a double adjustment ratcheting system locks the cord at any desired length, while non-snag rollers reduce cord abrasion during extension and retraction.

The cord reel is designed for wall mounting. Mounting hardware is included. For ceiling mounting, additional support may be required.
Awọn igbesẹ fifi sori ẹrọ:
- Yan Ibi: Choose a suitable wall or ceiling location within reach of an electrical outlet. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the reel (29.8 lbs) plus the force of cord retraction. For ceiling mounting, consider installing a support beam (e.g., 2x6 flat between rafters) in the attic above the reel.
- Create Template: Use the reel's mounting plate as a template to mark the drilling locations. Ensure the template is level.
- Pre-drill Holes: Pre-drill holes into the mounting surface using a drill bit slightly smaller than the diameter of the mounting screws. This prevents splitting wood and ensures a secure fit.
- Unwind Cord: To reduce weight and facilitate installation, fully extend the cord from the reel before mounting. This also helps prevent the cord from tangling during the mounting process.
- Mount Reel: Secure the reel to the pre-drilled holes using the provided mounting hardware. If using lag bolts, consider using larger flat washers than those supplied for better stability. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
- So agbara: Plug the reel's 60-inch lead-in cord into a properly grounded 125VAC electrical outlet.

To extend the cord, firmly pull the triple tap connector away from the reel. The internal ratcheting mechanism will engage, locking the cord at intervals. Pull the cord to the desired length until the ratchet locks it in place. The 4 non-snag rollers guide the cord smoothly, preventing kinks and tangles.

Yipada okun pada:
To retract the cord, pull the triple tap connector gently until the ratcheting mechanism disengages. Slowly guide the cord back into the reel. The auto-guide rewind function will retract the cord neatly without kinking or tangling. Allow the cord to retract at a controlled speed to prevent damage.

Using the Triple Tap Outlet:
The triple tap connector provides three grounded outlets for connecting multiple electrical devices. Ensure the total wattage of all connected devices does not exceed 1625 Watts to prevent overloading the circuit breaker.
