The Akai Professional APC Mini MK2 is a compact USB MIDI pad controller designed for seamless integration with Ableton Live. 1. 64 RGB-Backlit Pads
The 8x8 RGB pad matrix provides visual color feedback for launching clips in Ableton Live. These pads are responsive and can be used to trigger loops, instruments, vocals, and melodic samples.

2. 9 Assignable Faders
The APC Mini MK2 features 9 faders (8 assignable + 1 master) that automatically map to Ableton Live's mixer. These allow for hands-on control of volume, pan, or device macros, enabling real-time sound shaping.

3. Drum and Note Modes
The Drum sample mode integrates seamlessly with Ableton Drum Rack. Note mode, with its inbuilt "Smart Scale View," facilitates effortless melody playing by visually indicating the selected musical key across the pads.
4. Dedicated Scene Launch Buttons & Directional Arrows
To the right of the pad matrix, dedicated Scene Launch buttons activate groups of clips. Four directional arrow buttons allow for easy navigation within large Ableton Live sessions.

5. Portability and Connectivity
The compact design allows the APC Mini MK2 to fit into a laptop bag, making it suitable for music creation anywhere. It offers plug-and-play connectivity via a standard USB cable, requiring no external power adapters.

6. DAW Integration & Included Software
The APC Mini MK2 is pre-mapped for 1-to-1 integration with Ableton Live 11.2.7 onwards. It includes Ableton Live Lite, Hybrid 3 (polyphonic analog synth), Mini Grand (acoustic piano), and Velvet (vintage electric piano) for comprehensive music production.

Ṣeto

1. Clip Launching
Use the 8x8 grid of RGB pads to launch clips in Ableton Live's Session View. The pads will illuminate to reflect the status of your clips (e.g., playing, stopped, recorded).

Use the Scene Launch buttons to trigger entire rows of clips simultaneously. The directional arrow buttons allow you to move the focus across the 8x8 grid, navigating through your Ableton Live session.

The APC Mini MK2 is constructed from durable high-grade plastic. To ensure longevity and optimal performance:
