- To turn on: Rotate the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and the display illuminates.
- To turn off: Rotate the On/Off/Volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the display turns off.

- Press the Menu button until the channel number flashes.
- Use the Up/Down buttons to select your desired channel (1-22).
- Press the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button or Menu button to confirm your selection.
Privacy Codes (121 Codes)
Privacy codes help reduce interference from other users on the same channel.
- Press the Menu button twice until the privacy code number flashes.
- Use the Up/Down buttons to select your desired privacy code (1-121).
- Press the PTT button or Menu button to confirm. All radios in your group must use the same channel and privacy code to communicate.
Gbigbe ati Gbigba
- To Transmit: Press and hold the PTT button. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button when finished speaking.
- To Receive: Ensure the PTT button is not pressed. The radio will automatically receive signals on the selected channel and privacy code.
NOAA Weather Radio & Alerts
Stay informed about weather conditions and emergencies.
- To activate: Press the Weather button (usually marked with a weather icon).
- The radio will scan for active NOAA weather channels.
- The radio can receive weather alerts even when in Quiet Charge mode.

- To turn on/off: Press the dedicated flashlight button (often located on the side or top of the radio).
