4.1 Fuel and Oil Preparation
The CSH56 uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture.
- Epo epo: Mix unleaded petrol with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified in the engine manual (typically 25:1 or 50:1, refer to the engine manufacturer's instructions for exact ratio).
- Epo pq: Use only specialized chainsaw chain oil for lubrication. Do not use waste oil.
- Fill the fuel tank (0.55 L capacity) and the chain oil tank (0.26 L capacity) in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources.
- Check the integrated fuel level indicator to monitor fuel levels during operation.

A sharp chain is crucial for safe and efficient cutting. Sharpen the chain regularly or have it professionally sharpened.

- Clean the air filter regularly to ensure proper engine performance.
- Remove sawdust and debris from the guide bar groove and sprocket area.
- Wipe down the exterior of the chainsaw with a damp asọ.
