Your SEIKO 5 Sports watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. It does not require a battery. The movement of your arm winds the mainspring, providing power to the watch. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop. Simply shake it gently to restart and then set the time and date.

Omi Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is not recommended for scuba diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is wet.

Uni-directional Rotating Bezel

The bezel rotates in one direction only. This feature is useful for measuring elapsed time, such as diving time or parking meter duration. To use, align the bezel's zero mark with the minute hand at the start of an event. Read the elapsed time by noting the position of the minute hand against the bezel's scale.
