Upon unboxing your RAINPOINT Smart Sprinkler Controller, please verify that all the following components are included:

The RAINPOINT Smart Sprinkler Controller is designed for easy self-installation, typically taking 15-30 minutes without requiring special tools. Follow these steps for a successful setup:

Hang the controller onto this screw using the keyhole slot on its back. Secure the bottom of the controller with an additional screw through the bottom mounting hole.
  3. Wire the Transformer: Attach the wires from the transformer into the AC terminals (labeled AC1, AC2) on the controller. Ensure a secure connection by tightening the screws.
  4. Connect Sprinkler Zone Wires: Strip appropriate length of insulation from each sprinkler valve wire. Attach one wire from each valve to a numbered terminal (1-8) and the common wire (C) to the 'C' terminal. If you have a master valve, attach its wires to the 'C' and 'M' terminals. Ensure all connections are tight. The unique snap wire design helps organize cords.
  5. Connect Sensors (Optional): If using rain or soil moisture sensors, connect them to the S1 and S2 terminals.
  6. Agbara Tan: Plug the transformer into the power outlet. The controller's indicator lights should illuminate, indicating it's powered on.

3.2 App Connection and Initial Setup

The RAINPOINT APP provides comprehensive control and scheduling options:
