The AstrHori XH-2 is a compact and accurate light meter designed for photographers, particularly those using cameras without built-in metering or seeking enhanced precision. It features an upgraded metering module for accurate light readings and a cold shoe mount for compatibility with various camera types.

3.2 Mounting on a Camera

- Slide the AstrHori XH-2's cold shoe base into your camera's cold shoe.

4.1 Power On/Off and Activation
- To activate the light meter from dormant mode, click the metering button.
- The device will automatically enter a low-power dormant mode if there is no operation within 25 seconds.
- The device will automatically turn off after approximately 3 hours of continuous dormancy.

4.2 Basic Metering
The XH-2 uses 30° average metering. A single metering takes approximately 0.5 seconds.

To lock the settings when real-time metering is active, press the button once. Long press the button for 0.5 seconds to perform a specific action (context-dependent, usually power-related or menu access).

The screen provides real-time feedback on exposure settings, battery level, and selected modes.
