4.2 Connecting Hoses and Clamps
- Connect the appropriate test hoses to the low pressure inlet (14), high pressure inlet (17), and refrigerant/vacuum pump inlet (18) on the manifold gauge.
- Attach the other ends of the hoses to the service ports of the HVAC system.
- Plug the temperature clamps into the Clamp-on Temperature Probe Sockets (1).
- Securely attach the temperature clamps to the refrigerant pipes to measure pipe surface temperature.
