4.2. Hanging Main Beams (TT00)

  1. Mark Main Beam Positions: Mark the positions on the overhead structure (e.g., joists, concrete ceiling) where the TA00 Ceiling Suspension System Installation Kit tensioners will be installed. The recommended spacing for the main beams is 60cm (approximately 24 inches).
  2. Install Tensioners (TA00): Fix the TA00 tensioners to the marked positions on the overhead structure using screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Thread Cables: Thread the cables from the TA00 kit through the provided brackets.
  4. Fasten Cables to Tensioners: Securely fasten the cables to the tensioners.
  5. Thread Main Beams (TT00): Thread the TT00 Main Beams through the brackets attached to the cables.
  6. Level Main Beams: Adjust the length of the cables until the main beams are perfectly level. Use a spirit level for accuracy.

4.3. Installing Cross Tees (TT10) and Panels (TBP0)

  1. Install Cross Tees (TT10): Once the main beams are level and secure, install the TT10 Cross Tees by snapping them into the pre-cut slots on the main beams. This will create the grid pattern for your ceiling panels. You can create 2x2ft or 2x4ft grids depending on your design.
  2. Install PVC Panels (TBP0): Carefully lift and place the TBP0 PVC Ceiling Panels into the grid openings. Ensure they sit flush within the grid.

The Muzata Drop Ceiling Kit is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect the grid system for any signs of wear, corrosion, or loosening. Ensure all connections remain secure. For cleaning, gently wipe the galvanized steel main beams and any installed panels with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish or material integrity.

  • Oro: Components appear loose after installation.
    Ojutu: Re-check all screw connections for the wall L tees and tensioners. Ensure that the snap-in connections for the main beams and cross tees are fully engaged.
