Durable Design (Waterproof, Dustproof, Drop-Proof)
The JBL Grip is engineered for durability, featuring an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating. It is also drop-proof, designed to withstand falls from up to 1 meter onto concrete surfaces.

Multi-Speaker Connection with Auracast™
Utilize Auracast™ technology to connect multiple JBL Auracast-enabled speakers. This allows for stereo pairing of two Grip speakers for a wider soundstage or connecting numerous speakers to fill a larger space with synchronized audio.

To power on the JBL Grip, press and hold the power button located on the top panel until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the light turns off.

- Ensure the JBL Grip is powered on.
- The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode if it's the first time being used or if no device is currently connected. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
- On your mobile device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select 'JBL Grip' from the list of available devices.

JBL Portable App
Download the JBL Portable app from your device's app store. The app allows for customization of ambient light themes, color options, brightness, and equalizer settings.

Auracast™ Multi-Speaker Setup
To connect multiple JBL Auracast-enabled speakers:

The JBL Grip has an IP68 rating, making it waterproof and dustproof. It can be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting any cables.

Cleaning Your Speaker
To clean the JBL Grip, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the speaker's finish or fabric. Ensure the speaker is powered off and all ports are closed before cleaning.

After exposure to water, ensure the USB-C charging port is completely dry before attempting to charge the device. Charging a wet port can cause damage to the speaker or charger.
