How do I enroll sensors on my Alula Connect+ or Connect-FLX panel?
To enroll a sensor, press the dedicated Enroll button on the hub until it beeps (typically holding for 3 seconds). While the panel is in enroll mode (LED often white), trigger the sensor by removing its battery tab or opening the tamper switch. The panel should beep to confirm enrollment.
-
What do the LED colors on the Alula hub indicate?
On the Connect-FLX, a Green light typically means the system is Disarmed. Red indicates Armed Away, Blue indicates Armed Night, and Cyan indicates Armed Stay. A solid Yellow or Orange light usually indicates a trouble condition such as a low battery or loss of supervision.
-
How do I reset my Alula panel to factory settings?
Reset procedures vary by model, but for the Connect-FLX, enter 'Cell Signal Indication Mode' by rapidly pressing the Enroll button, then press and hold the Enroll button for 30 seconds to factory default. Note: This should only be done by a professional installer as it clears all programming.
-
What batteries do Alula sensors use?
Most Alula sensors, such as the RE622 NanoMax, use CR2032 lithium coin batteries. Larger peripherals like the RE616X Siren may use CR123A batteries. Always refer to the specific device manual for the correct battery type and replacement instructions.
