Press and hold the Learn button on the interior panel until it beeps and flashes green. Enter your new access code, press the Learn button again, re-enter your code to confirm, and press the Learn button a final time. The light will blink green to confirm successful programming.
Open the unit using your backup keys or current code. Locate the battery compartment on the interior panel, carefully disconnect the old battery, and insert a new 9V alkaline battery (Duracell or Energizer are highly recommended to prevent issues).
This is the Low Battery Warning Indicator. It alerts you that the 9V battery is running extremely low and needs to be replaced immediately to ensure the safe continues to operate properly.
Open the safe and locate the Mute button near the interior keypad panel. Press and hold it for a few seconds. Depending on your model, the indicator light will typically flash green to confirm the audio has been safely disabled.
