  • How do I program the UP and DOWN limits on my Lake Lifter Direct Drive Motor?

Hold the STOP button on the key fob for about 10 seconds to enter programming mode. Move the lift to the first position and press STOP to set the first limit. Optionally press LIGHT for a middle boarding limit, then move to the second position and press STOP to set the second limit.

  • Can I use the Auto-Run mode if I have a Bimini top or wake tower?

Auto-Run mode is only permitted if the upper limit stop is specifically set to account for the clearance of the tower or Bimini. If the limit requires manually lowering them first, do not use Auto-Run mode as it will cause serious collision damage to your boat and lift.

  • What batteries are compatible with the Lake Lifter Battery Status Indicator?

The status indicator is compatible with all 12-volt lead-acid batteries, including maintenance-free, deep cycle, and gel types. For 24-volt systems, you will need to utilize two separate indicator units.

  • How long is the Lake Lifter Direct Drive Motor warranty valid?

The motor is backed by a 2-year limited warranty for consumer use in the USA and Canada. This covers defects under normal wear and tear, but does not cover commercial use, overloading, improper installation, or saltwater degradation.

  • Where do I contact Lake Lifter for warranty or support issues?

For product support or warranty claims, do not return the motor to the retailer. Contact the Lake Lifter Service Department directly at 260-918-2758 or email sales@lakelifter.com.
