To remove the battery, first ensure the device is shut down. Slide the two latches to unlock the protective battery cover and remove it. Then, slide the battery lock latch up and pull the battery out.
Turn off the device and remove the battery. Remove the card slot tray, place the SIM and Micro SD card into their respective slots on the tray, and reinsert the tray before replacing the battery.
Charge the battery fully every three months. Do not operate the device with less than 20% battery to avoid damage. The charging temperature range is 0ºC to 40ºC.
Open an application with a text field focused. Point the top of the device at the barcode and press the shutter button (marked 'F'). A beep will sound and the data capture LED will light up when the code is successfully decoded.
