This setup manual provides installation, mounting, power-on, and initial Android configuration guidance for the SHARP interactive displays (PN-LB863, PN-LB753, PN-LB653), along with required safety information and wireless adapter notes where applicable.

Quick Setup / Initial Use

  1. Confirm mounting requirements: Use a VESA-compliant wall-mount bracket; for installation/moving, use at least 3 people (PN-LB863: at least 4). Mounting work must be performed by an authorized dealer when mounting on a wall.
  2. Set up power connection: Use only the supplied power cord. Clamp the power cord using the supplied cable clamp and avoid excessive bending/stressing of the cable/terminal.
  3. Orientation setup (if installing vertically/portrait):
    – PN-LB863/PN-LB753: install vertically on a horizontal surface.
    – PN-LB653: install vertically on a horizontal surface; when tilting keep the upward angle 20° or less.
    – PN-LB753/PN-LB653 portrait: ensure enough space around the monitor, place the power LED on the bottom side, and set Screen Rotation to Portrait in Admin Settings.
  4. Tan ifihan: Note that the monitor cannot be turned on when the main power switch is off. Use the POWER button on the unit or POWER ON button on the remote to exit input-signal waiting/standby.
  5. First power-on Android setup: Configure settings on the Android settings screen. To configure wired LAN after initial settings, go to Settings > Ethernet (see Operation Manual). To skip the password lock, use the Screen lock option under Settings after initial settings (see Operation Manual).
  6. Initial monitor setup: Open the Setup Wizard icon on the Home screen and configure initial settings. For portrait installation, set Installation to Portrait (PN-LB753/PN-LB653).
  7. Touch panel note: To use the touch panel with an HDMI connection, connect the supplied USB cable to the computer. On macOS, operation is only possible in mouse mode.
