2.1 Setting Your Personal Combination

The key safe comes with a factory-set combination, usually "0-0-0". It is crucial to change this to a personal combination immediately after unpacking. Please follow these steps:

  1. Open the safe using the current combination (factory default is "0-0-0").
  2. Locate the reset lever or button inside the safe, usually on the back of the door or near the locking mechanism. This is often a small lever that needs to be moved from position A to B (or similar, depending on the specific design).
  3. While the lever is in the reset position, set your desired new 3-digit combination by rotating the number dials. Choose a memorable but secure combination.
  4. Return the reset lever to its original position.
  5. Close the safe and scramble the dials to lock it. Test your new combination to ensure it works correctly before securing any valuables.

Pataki: Make a note of your new combination and store it in a safe place, separate from the key safe. There is no master key or override for the combination lock.
